So, since Isabella has had her first sugar rush she has never been the same. She changed the moment that cake touched her mouth. It's like she knows she is a big girl now! She has always been a GREAT eater, no kidding she will eat anything you put in her mouth. Now, she will refuse her vegetables and certain fruits. Is this really happening? She can't be fooled either. I used to be able to hide the veggies in other foods, but she finds them. She will chew the chicken and spit out the broccoli. UGH! So, I have given in to this madness. I gave her a lollipop... wow that was not smart. She didn't know how to eat it at first. She looked at it and would stick it in her mouth. After about 30 seconds she was a pro. She was switching hands, twirling it, and even did a no-hander. She was in heaven. 5 minutes later, with sticky hands and mouth, she was satisfied and no more crying!!!!!!

ROARRRRRR!!!!
We were able to go to T-REX last night at Downtown Disney and meet Eric, Lauren, Haley, and Max! How fun! The food was great, but expected a lot more considering the prices. Honestly, what should I expect... it's at DISNEY. All in all, we were so glad to be with family!

Beach Days are Here!
We finally got to go to the beach and it was the perfect time! Bella was pointing at EVERYTHING and loved every minute.. it was all a learning experience for her.. the sand and water were not very fun for her. She preferred to stand back and watch. I'm sure she will warm up!
Bella does this when we ask how her how old she is!
"Who's on the phone?"
Bella and Nana
She refused to put her feet on the sand

So much to blog about... so little time....
Wow... I have so much to catch up with on the blog writing... How about we scratch off all previous events and I will start blogging from Bella's first birthday!? Sounds great!
Bella loved opening her presents and is such a big girl now!!!!!!
So, where in the world are the Romero's? We are in FLORIDA!! Sunshine state! We have left our first home, beautiful land, and wonderful friends! It is the next phase of our life. Tennessee was a place where I learned to grow up (Yeah, I know it might have been a good idea to do this BEFORE I got married). It was our home away from home. I was able to make friends, get a job, go to school, get a calling, have a CHILD, and live in a whole new world! All on my own!!!! (technically the CHILD part involved my husband and I couldn't have done it without him!) What a wonderful time. Now, we are back in Florida. Our home.
We are not a 10 hour drive away from our friends and family! How wonderful it is! And what I am so excited about... getting my tan back!!!! Man, Tennessee really wiped out any evidence of sun on my skin. So, we will definitely be taking advantage of the 30 minute drive to the beach!
Bella's first birthday was a success!! We went to Gatorland on her actual birthday and she loved all the animals! Her birthday party was the next day... she was eating up all of the attention. She is considered a toddler now! Is this really happening? I still see her as my baby. She loves to talk and points to things and says, "wassat?" or "tsssss".. she loves to dance! Any chance she hears music her legs start shaking and her body starts bouncing. She is starting to feed herself! Her time in her high chair is her favorite time of the day, hands down. She loved her cake and loved hearing everyone sing happy birthday to her.. it was so much fun to see her so excited! She is starting to point to her body parts when I ask her where they are and she is doing animal noises... so fun! she isn't always right sometimes cows say "meow" and dogs say "quack quack" so it's a work in progress!! So here are some pictures from her birthday!
Bella loved opening her presents and is such a big girl now!!!!!!

..there's a calm I can't explain...
I had such a great day at church today. We had a great sacrament meeting and our Sunday school lesson was even better. Our teacher discussed our life before we came to Earth and he spoke about it in a way I had never heard. He put things in perspective that really made me feel so much closer to my savior, Jesus Christ. I had to trust Him and His plan. I actually put my trust in Jesus that his plan was the one that would bring me salvation. I trusted in Him to be our Savior. I felt so moved to think about our pre-mortal life and the decisions we made. I am so grateful for my Savior and that he atoned for my sins. He brings me hope and joy in my life.
On our way home, we got pulled over by the police for dark tinting on our windows.. what a slap in the face. We had such a wonderful spirit and this guy comes along and ruins it. I wanted to be so angry and let it ruin my day, but I saw my husband. He was so calm and respectful. He didn't say one bitter word or complaint. He didn't get angry or walk around pouting. And, especially, he did not let it ruin his day. I am so grateful that he is an example to me. I was in the kitchen, being pitiful, and my dad came in and reminded me something that I can always look at to calm me down. I was holding Isabella in my arms and he said, "Just look at your beautiful daughter. She is the only thing that matters." I still stood there sulking and waited until he walked away. I looked at Isabella and realized he is right. Just looking at her sweet smile made my heart melt. Why would I let something so stupid ruin my day?

Whip it.. whip it good!
So, my new guilty pleasure is the Yoplait Whips... have you tried it? Seriously! I can't get them off my mind! They have a bunch of yummy flavors and I like every single one of them! My mom bought them when she was here... ever since then I have been hooked! Hey, it's way better than eating ice cream or brownies!

Blessed.. with trials?
Lately, in my life, I have been challenged to face my trials. It seems like every Monday we have a lesson at family home evening on trials. I have been going through some trials in my life with my health and have been struggling to persevere. A lot of the lessons talked about turning to the Lord when faced with trials and that is exactly what I have been doing. I have been reading my scriptures daily and saying my prayers. It has really blessed my life and I can see the blessings pouring out in front of me.
I watch a show on BYU TV called the Food Nanny. They recently had a family on the show who were faced with a trial in their life. They were in a severe car accident and the husband suffered debilitating injuries. He was unable to work and the wife had to go back to work to bring home money. I saw this young family, who suffered so much and I asked myself, "How blessed is my family?"
This family was so positive and never gave up. They were so optimistic about what the future had in store for them and the husband even mentioned that it is a trial in his life that he just has to overcome. I see these sweet people as an example of how we should always stay positive and never stray away from the Lord's plan. He has so much in store for each and every one of us and we may never know on this earth the reason why He has put these trials in our way. He wants us to turn to Him.

Even though I am struggling, I know that my Heavenly Father is there every step of the way. I know that he has blessed me with such a beautiful and eternal family. That is the most important thing in my life. I am truly blessed.
