Be still my soul..

This past week has brought no sun and has started to get to me! I didn't believe that seasonal depression could happen to me until it did! Gosh this week was horribly groggy and miserable! I would rather have mounds of snow with the ugly weather! Well today the sunshine peaked through some clouds as I was walking to my car... It was MAGNIFICANT! I immediately saw a change in my mood. I began to appreciate the beautiful nature that the Lord has put on this earth. As I was walking the dogs I was more aware of how beautiful the world can be, even if there is no warm, sunny weather. I decided to take some pics of the small, insignificant, beautiful things in my backyard. It is the little things that keeps me going.
LET THE SUN SHINE!!!!!! It took forever to capture the rain drops, but I did it!

It's like my own little sacred grove. So peaceful.

I look forward to seeing this log every morning I walk the dogs. Slater brings me to it every time. It is just so natural. I don't want to move it.

Life in Tennessee

Yesterday was such a great day! Terry and I attended church and when we got home we rode our new bikes! It was so much fun except for the fact that our neighborhood is all hills.... we don't have hill's in FLORIDA! Needless to say, we were able to get home and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Later, Terry went with his friend off-road to go mudding in his Jeep! He took Slater along... and he ended up vomiting from all the bumps.. poor baby! Rubi was very upset she could not go, so I was forced to take her on a ride through the neighborhood to get her to stop barking and whining! Today, it snowed! It was cold, but it is always wonderful when it snows! We had family night tonight... we watched a biography on Gordon B. Hinkley. It was a wonderful thing to see the life of such a great prophet. It was also very comforting to know that he went through trials growing up and moments of indecision. Seeing that means that such a great leader did not always lead such a perfect life. Although he was righteous and was such a great example. He stuck to what he believed and had such a strong testimony of the church. Watching this biography made my testimony of the Prophet Gordon B. Hinkley even more stronger. He was such a great man!

While watching the biography, Bucky jumped up on his chair and layed with Georgia!

Ring in the New year!!!

Well I finally found time to start our family blog. Hopefully in the coming years it will be full of pictures of our family as it grows. We celebrated the New Year with the wonderful Epperson's. We love seeing them and wish that someday Amber will give in and move up here! (We know Jason wants to move here) We were able to see the lights at the Gaylord Opryland and had so much fun together! We love you guys! Hopefully, I will be abe to keep everyone up-to-date on our life here in Tennessee and the many adventures we endeavor! Happy New Year!!
